1. On-Device Processing & Zero Photo Harvesting

Your privacy is fundamental to how StickIt is architected:

• 100% Local Image Processing: All image segmentation, subject cutout extraction, sticker border rendering, foil and holographic effects, and widget compositing happen directly in the local sandbox of your phone using Apple Vision and on-device ML accelerators.
• No Remote Photo Uploads: StickIt does never transmit your photos, library assets, or stickers to any external server or cloud storage. Your pictures stay exclusively on your device.

2. Device Permissions & Information Handled

StickIt only requests the minimal system permissions necessary to provide its core features:

• Photo Library Access: We request photo permissions solely to let you select pictures you wish to turn into home screen sticker widgets and optionally export finished images to your Photos. We never scan, browse, or index photos you have not selected.
• In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: All transactions are securely processed by Apple StoreKit (App Store) and Google Play Billing. Receipt validation and active entitlement statuses are synchronized securely through RevenueCat. We never collect, handle, or store your payment card numbers or billing details.
• Anonymous Technical Diagnostics: To diagnose unexpected crashes, maintain compatibility across OS updates, and monitor app reliability, anonymous non-personal telemetry (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) is aggregated using PostHog. This data contains zero personal identifiers or user photo data.

3. Local System Notifications

StickIt may schedule optional local notifications on your device (for example, reminding you that a newly saved sticker is available to place as a widget). These alerts are scheduled locally by your operating system and never transmit data to any external server. You can disable them at any time in system Settings.

4. Third-Party Service Partners

StickIt integrates exclusively with established, privacy-compliant developer services:

• Apple StoreKit & Google Play: Secure payment processing and subscription billing.
• RevenueCat: In-app purchase receipt validation and subscription state verification (RevenueCat Privacy Policy).
• PostHog: Privacy-conscious, aggregated product telemetry to monitor crashes and improve features (PostHog Privacy Policy).

5. Data Retention & Permanent Deletion

Because your sticker widgets and image data reside strictly within your local app storage sandbox, deleting a sticker inside the app or uninstalling StickIt from your phone permanently and irreversibly purges all data from the device.

6. Children's Privacy

StickIt does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is completely safe, family-friendly, and privacy-preserving for users of all ages.

7. Policy Updates

If we update this Privacy Policy to reflect app enhancements or statutory changes, the revised version will be published on this URL with an updated effective date.
